Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of Highground Research, including personal analytics, smart money research, monitoring alerts, and any related website or application features.

Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Highground Research, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What this service is

Highground Research provides prediction market research and workflow tools. Depending on the feature, the service may help you analyze your own trade history locally in your browser, review public market data, scan markets for patterns, and create monitoring alerts for supported Kalshi or Polymarket links.

The service is informational software only. It does not place trades, act as your broker, custody funds, or make decisions on your behalf.

Highground Research is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Kalshi, Polymarket, or any prediction market platform. References to those platforms describe data sources and integration points, not a partnership or endorsement.

3. No financial, legal, or tax advice

Content, analytics, scores, alerts, summaries, and market observations are provided for general information only. They are not investment, legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice.

You are solely responsible for your trading, investment, and compliance decisions. You should verify important information independently before acting on it.

4. Data accuracy and algorithmic estimates

Features such as the Smart Money Scanner produce scores, labels, and classifications (for example, trust scores, wallet trader classes, and conviction signals) using automated algorithms applied to publicly available market and blockchain data. These outputs are estimates, not verified facts. They can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong.

Market data, prices, volumes, and snapshots displayed in the service may be cached, delayed, or sourced from third-party APIs that are themselves subject to errors and outages. Do not treat any data point in the service as a guaranteed real-time or authoritative value.

5. Accounts and eligibility

The service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Some features, especially monitoring and notification delivery, require an account. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and devices secure and for using accurate account information.

You may not use the service to break the law, interfere with the service, abuse rate limits, reverse engineer protected systems, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized access to data, accounts, or infrastructure.

6. Local-first analytics and your responsibility

The Personal Analytics feature is designed to keep imported trade CSVs and derived analytics in your browser storage by default. That local storage is under your control, but it is also your responsibility.

If you clear browser storage, switch browsers, use private browsing, reset your device, or if the browser removes stored data, your local analytics data may be lost. We are not responsible for restoring local browser data that never reached our servers.

7. Monitoring alerts and notifications

Monitoring alerts depend on third-party market data, scheduled polling, your saved rule configuration, and external delivery services such as email, browser push, or SMS when available. Alerts are not guaranteed to be real-time, complete, error-free, or successfully delivered.

Market pages can change, providers can rate-limit requests, browsers can revoke notification permission, and external delivery providers can delay or reject messages. You should not rely on the service as your only source of critical information.

If you enable email, SMS, or browser push, you consent to receive service-related notifications at the contact point or device you provide. You are responsible for keeping those destinations accurate and available. Carrier, messaging, browser, or data charges may apply depending on your provider or device settings.

8. External platforms and data sources

The service may reference or depend on Kalshi, Polymarket, WorkOS, Brevo, Twilio, web push infrastructure, hosting providers, and other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not control third-party platforms, public market data, wallet labels, market availability, or external outages. We are not liable for losses or issues caused by those third parties.

9. Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for lawful personal or internal business use.
  • Do not copy, scrape, or resell the service in a way that harms it.
  • Do not upload malicious files, code, or links.
  • Do not attempt to bypass limits, security controls, or access rules.
  • Do not use the service in a way that could create harm for others.

10. Intellectual property

Highground Research, excluding third-party content and your own data, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose.

11. Service changes, availability, and pricing

The service is currently provided at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or change pricing in the future with reasonable notice.

We may update, suspend, remove, or change features at any time, including features that are experimental, beta, or provider-dependent. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain available in its current form.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Highground Research and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, data loss, lost opportunities, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.

This limitation applies even if an alert is delayed, not delivered, inaccurate, duplicated, or missing, and even if analytics, scores, or market summaries turn out to be incomplete or wrong.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Highground Research and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on any data, score, alert, or output provided by the service.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms, creating security risk, abusing the service, or exposing us or other users to legal or operational harm.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the last updated date. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
